IZN Scientific Events
Through lectures, seminars, and retreats, the Interdisciplinary Center for Neurosciences (IZN) endeavors to disseminate scientific knowledge and discoveries, cultivate scientific exchange, and foster collaborations, thereby promoting and advancing the study of neurosciences within the Heidelberg/Mannheim scientific community.
IZN Retreat
Once each year, the IZN community meets at an off-campus location to spend 2-3 days engaged in themed talks by leading experts, presenting and discussing their research through posters, and connecting with peers during social events and meals, fostering exchange of ideas and collaboration.
Join us on July 14-15, 2024 in Kloster Schöntal, to hear from renowned experts in the field of NEUROINFLAMMATION, including: Prof. Dr. Colm Cunningham (Dublin), Prof. Dr. Francesca Oldoardi (Göttingen), Prof. Dr. Bart Eggen (Groningen), and Prof. Dr. Martina Absinta (Milano), as well the IZN's own Prof. Dr. Oliver Kann and Dr. Richard Fairless.
